The Great Plague Epidemic of 2013

It is disastrous. It is worse than the plague which wiped out half of London’s population. Nothing can compare to the horror of the Great Plague Epidemic of 2013.
Like a bad smell, they follow you everywhere. Once they locate their target, they will never leave you alone, forever taunting you.

Today, it is Thursday 11th 2013. We were four teenagers sat on a bench of the Bolsover School, minding our own business, when it happened. We were spotted! It was worse than the cholera epidemic. It was worse than smallpox before Jenner’s inoculation. It was worse than the event that wiped the dinosaurs off the face of the Earth. In fact, it was worse than the great depression of May 5th 2011.

We tried to ignore them, really we tried, but it was far easier said than done. They start off small in numbers, but gradually… they multiply. They multiply until you find yourself surrounded. Then, there is no escape.

No escaping the pests as they surround us, creeping closer and closer. Soon, they will own the place. But we will not give up! They will not beat us! We will fight them on the beaches! We will fight them on the marking grounds! We will never surrender!
Saved by the bell, we rushed to our very own safe haven, the one place we can guarantee we will be safe from the great plague.

They may take our lives, but they will never take our freedom. This is our school. Our school; and we intend to keep it that way.

We need a plan. A plan to rid us of the Great Plague of 2013. The plague to end all plagues.
